Collection & Delivery
Mr & Mrs Cheese Boxes
- Every order will be packaged in a white Mr & Mrs Cheese box, filled with paper straw to protect the cheese and ice packs to keep the cheese cool.
Collection
- If you place your order before midday, you will be able to collect your cheese box from us the following day.
- Once you have placed your order for collection, you will receive an email stating that we have received it.
- On the day that you have requested to pick up your cheese box you will be emailed to say that your cheese box is ready for collection.
- Your cheese box will be waiting for you at - Village Larder, London Road, Washington, West Sussex, RH20 3BP (Next to Squires Garden Centre).
- Come into our shop and tell us your name and order number and we will hand you your cheese box.
- If there are any problems during the process, which there shouldn't be, we will call you or contact you via email. Likewise, if you haven't heard from us, which should never happen, please email or give us a call.
Local Delivery
- There are 3 postal code areas that we can offer a lower delivery charge of £3.95 to at the moment. If you want a delivery to the post code RH20, RH13 or BN44, the option to select 'local delivery' will be available. Our staff will be able to deliver your box as these are areas we live in.
- If you place your order before midday, the first day that will be able to be selected for delivery will be three days from then. If you require your delivery sooner, and you live within these postal codes please let us know in the 'special requests box' which is within your cart before checkout. We may be able to get it to you sooner and we will be in touch.
- Once you have placed your order for 'local delivery', you will receive an email stating that we have received your order.
- On the day that you have requested for your cheese box to be delivered to you, we will email you to say that your cheese box will be out for delivery. Please let us know if you are not going to be home and we can arrange a convenient time to drop it off to you.
- If there are any problems during the process, which there shouldn't be, we will call you or contact you via email. Likewise, if you haven't heard from us, which should never happen, please email or give us a call.
- If you spend over £50 your local delivery will be free of charge.
DPD Delivery
** During our testing period with DPD they have shown themselves to be very reliable and we are very happy with their service. You can track your delivery and you will receive text and email updates. We cannot however guarantee with 100% confidence your delivery will arrive on the day you have requested. It may arrive early, on the day you have requested, or rarely a day late. We are confident that your order will be in perfect condition and that you will be happy and satisfied. This is just a disclaimer to state that when your cheese order has left us, it is in the hands of DPD.
- If you place your order before midday, the first day that will be able to be selected for delivery will be three days from then.
- Once you have placed your order for 'standard delivery', you will receive an email from us stating that we have received your order.
- Once we have put your cheese box together we will take it to our DPD pickup point. We will give them your contact number so that they can inform you of updates and details of your order. Once DPD have collected your box they will email you.
- If there are any problems during the process, which there shouldn't be, we will call you or contact you via email. Likewise, if you haven't heard from us, which should never happen, please email or give us a call.
- If you spend over £50 your DPD delivery will be free of charge.
